Seeing your eyes as never before,
As you’re approaching me
Your eyes hold wide an open door,
Of where I’d like to be
As ever, I chase to satisfy my taste,
As if a cup of bliss
I swallow my pride and start the race,
For you, I’d not want to miss.

This has to be my favorite by far. Someone told me that the best writers use words in the shortest of ways, and yet say what needs to be said. This does just that. It’s romantic, a bit misterious to me; I feel as if this means more than what I’m reading. 👍🏼
